Common Room

The Undergraduate Common Room (S4.37) is an personal study space for undergraduates within the Maths Department at King's.

The MathSoc Committee has been granted authorisation to acquire responsibility and management of the room under the room. This means, from 2010/11 onwards the Common Room will be managed by KCL MathSoc giving the society authority to regulate the usage of the room.

In early 2011, we also managed to strike a generous refurbishment deal with the College which saw the upgrade of facilities within the then ageing Common Room. This refurbishment should be complete by September 2011, in time for the new academic year.

We are in high hopes that you will be able to use this room effectively and responsibly. The MathSoc often updates the rules governing the room via links on this page and will usually post a printed version in the room's boards. We request you adhere to these house rules as they will benefit you and others to ensure a conducive and pleasant atmosphere for all to study and relax.

Usage for whiteboard marker pens are allowed on the boards but if you wish to borrow stationary from us, please arrange this by e-mailing the committee members (form on 'Contact Us' page) or speaking to us directly (we are like to be around the room often). You are also free to contact us to give your feedback or report inappropriate behaviour by other users.
